Nightmares

As I bleed my tears

try to take my nightmares and fears

lying in the dark I see him arise

choking on the light

I begin to hear the whispers and the cries

approaching me closely

my eyes widening

 

Shiver and shake,

now your awake

don’t make a sound

it will be your last mistake

 

The creaks and cracks get loader

the bangs on the bedroom door

vibrate the floor

to scared to see what’s there

now you hear the screams

you don’t know

if you can take much more

so you approach the door

 

A flash of light

to your surprise

it’s a mirror and your

looking straight though

the wholes in your eyes

Nice twist.
However, my eyes caught some grammatical errors: (i hope you don't mind)
1. now your awake --- now you're awake
2. cracks get loader --- cracks get louder
3. to scared --- too scared
4. mirror and your --- mirror and you're
5. straight though --- straight through

this one is so thrilling...a very nice and horrific poem......the visualization which you have mentioned makes me imagine all the things perfectly....i felt like i'm here in that environment hearing those sounds...awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
