I wrote this back in 2004. It's youthful, but it's stayed with me all this time. I hope you enjoy it.

Stand behind that facade you wear.
Stare into the impending darkness
With your eyes that give you away.

Don't let the world know
Of your beauty-
Of your benevolent grace-
Of you.

I see what no one sees.
I see the world
When I look into your eyes-
Your eyes that window
Your beautiful soul-
Your beautiful mind-

I feel all emotion
When I look into your eyes-
Your eyes that tell
Of your incredible pain-
Of your incredible anger-
Of your incredible happiness-
The conglomeration of emotions
That shape who you are.

I can see all
Through your eyes.
