begotten

A Poem by boston house kitten

we can sail the worlds longest fountains
jump off trees on the world's highest mountains
a story never told is just lost not forgotten
we are all products of love and begotten

Lol I missed this one, nonethless Linda, begotten means like reproduction or procreation so it fits the message that is being conveyed pretty well. A very good poem I thought :)

first off, i love your rhymes! in poetry, i always look for rhymes that stretch the vocabulary and are surprising. both rhymes were unexpected and beautiful.

and those last two lines... they really struck me. such a sweet sentiment, that being lost is not the same as being forgotten. a truly solid piece. thank you for sharing!
