My Lover, My Soul

My Lover, My Soul

A Poem by Brandee D. Hack
"

Describes the relationship and complexities between a man and a woman and the love shared between them. Thoughts are also mentioned in certain lines.

"
A warm embrace surrounds my heart,
Are you calling my dear, my heart?
You caress me softly,
as wind in the Spring.

Are you with me?
I am certain that we're to be.

You've shown me a world,
it's none like I've seen.
You've gone to places,
You've shown to me.

You kiss me,
O' your lips so sweet.
I adore time with you.
Our love was to be.

You love me tenderly,
your touch is so sweet.
You know where to go,
make me dizzy and weak knee'd.

I treasure our time,
I pray it never ends.
For without you in my life,
I would turn to grief and strife.

So love me and our flame that burns,
answer my call, my lover, my soul.

What do you think? This was a spur of the moment poem. I wrote down my feelings. This is similar to my other poem "Earth or Fire?" Input would be grand. =)
