School; Torture

School; Torture

A Poem by Brandee D. Hack

School; I sit.

It seems like

such a long

day that will

never end...

I tend to

think that

nothing will

be the

same again...

Why should

I have

to suffer

in this

"hell" hole?

It's such a horrible time to think...

That I am stuck here, unable to get out.

There is no creativity within these bounds.

A part of life is knowing to put up with things we don't like in order to reach a certain goal, so I'm glad you're venting out what's bothering you instead of bottling it up until you force yourself to quit.
Life is like driving - if you spend too much time looking into the car, adjusting the radio to your liking, you will crash.
Instead you should mostly look ahead - not too far, not too close, occasionally looking in the rear view mirror to make sure everything's ok.
When you're tired and sick, it's best to have someone you trust besides you, and maybe even a few more friends and family members in the back.
And you should change your oil regularly, though I'm not sure how it fits into the metaphor... :P

The rhythm of this piece went completely over my head - would really like it if you read it to me sometime.
FYI - Hellhole is one word, but I guess it really depends on what you want to say.
Greatly put overall - you've tackled the subject and pinned it down to the ground.
Are there touchdowns in Rugby?
