Fire Burn and Cauldron Bubble IIA Poem by Brandee D. HackMore to the story...
The more it seems I know you
the more you slip away. Not because I am trying but only for you cannot stay. You found someone else and now I am only a doll. Something pretty to look at nothing glorious at all. The more I think of him the truer this all seems. He gives me a sense of warmth and not your ugly speech. I never wanted to kiss you but you welcomed me in. Now I want to take it back all this hurt; adieu. Because a friend came in and gave me a spectacle of light. I cannot turn my back on his unending plight. Yet nothing is going right sometimes I seem a mess. But all I want to do I end my lover's quest. A knight I seek is gentle, a poet quite revered. But I do not know the power in which my heart can yield. I just need time to think a friendship I foresee. For in all this crazy mess you have been my sea. You are not my rebound to the basketball game. But I don't want to break your heart and it is with that, that I sway. Time is just a simple clock of number small and large. It is unending in it's tale so watch it bend and turn. I need it to stand up again to find what all I need. All I have is in front of me, with it, I take my leave.
