Supernova Girl

Supernova Girl

A Poem by Brenda Woods
"

she's so bright she blinds / i wish she could be mine

"
she explodes
a dazzling display of colour
heart ablaze
she lights the skies
and i’m blinded
transfixed in her beauty
and i’ll love her; humbly
for how do you approach
a goddess that burns?
she’s divine, never mine
bright as a supernova

I absolutely love this. Beautiful imagery expressing beautiful love.
Would be great to see this in my LGBT contest. Your talent for poetry shines through. The rhythm in combination with imagery creates something of an exquisite experience.

"And I'll love her; humbly, for how do you approach a goddess..." Love this. Love, good or bad, is an eternal inspiration for creativity.
