Wishes

I feel so worthless

and like all that I am doing

is letting you down 

as if I am giving you another reason

to be disappointed in me.

I feel like I have 

let you down

and made you feel like you

do not matter

but really you do matter

and I wish I had done more.

I wish I had given you 

a reason to stay

a reason to want to be around

and a reason to hold on.

Because you made this life worth living

and you gave me so many smiles

Smiles that I will never want to take back

but maybe this is our end

and maybe this is how we were 

meant to end

We lived fast

and we died young

but it was the best time of my life

and for you

I will always be grateful.
