Depression

Depression

A Poem by breakthebrokenone

He walks away
leaving me to wallow
in this black cloak of depression
because I drain him
and swallow all the water he has
leaving him dehydrated
weak
I have to rise to see another sunrise
but it isn't easy
when the only thing you can do
is wrap the depression around you
like a cloak of warmth
that fits so well
and smells like home.
