A Poem by Latifa
"

sometimes thing seems so blurry that you just have to take a stand and rethink

"
Whirl around whirl

Whirl into the endless swirl

To find the elixir pearl

In a delicate moment of placid whim

When the sunbeams have come to dim

And the moon saluted with striking grin

With countless stars you rally your sin

Repent from the devouring hymn

Picking yourself from the slippery brim

Making the everlasting vow

Turning the table now

Rising from the burdening bow

Beating the odds no matter how

I like your use of the language. Each lines of create thoughts and visions. I like the above lines a lot. I like the desire and the flow of the poem. A strong ending to the excellent poem.

Wonderful imagery, alliteration and crafted writing. On a deeper level, this piece gives the reader much to think about. The idea of repenting and pushing on is powerful. Also, the short explanation is helpful and interesting in itself--losing focus on something is a good time to stand back. Well done.
