Nestle

A Poem by Latifa
"

finding,knowing,aiming

"
aimless it is
aimless it was
the lost self wants a shelter

hollow hours
empty eyes
in search of sighing breath
in search of knowing

soliloquy is aching
fragile heart is waning
 spring of youth is withering

nestle beneath
the throne of the proper lord
maybe the warmth of the light will filter
 through the perishing walls

Each of us must search for our place to nestle...
I have found my place beneath the Throne of God.
There is plenty of Light...and lots of room, here...
And the walls are quite strong, and very beautiful.

The allegorical is often illusive for a reader. Here there is no mental Mississippi to float down at a leisurely pace, where one may take comfort in the fact that firmament bounds the flow of thoughts. As with the terminus at the mouth of a gulf.. a life too can meander in its search for places to nestle, to find that warmth of light that seems so often to provide an attractive contrast to an otherwise dark and turbulent flow. There is the subtle inorganic mixed in with the predominately organic tone that seems to provide a necessary contrast in this otherwise subtle and soft-walking caricature.

I like the above words. Sometime we need to dig deep and find the light. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
