Envy

A Poem by Latifa
"

my very first senryu

"

Gritted teeth of ire,
she sips  her envy basking,
sickened by laughter.

This poem gave me a chill. There was something frightening beneath the surface.
Masterful use of emotion.

An excellent senryu for its depth of understanding and expression. I do think you need a comma between envy and basking. Otherwise loved it.
