Mother

This poem is really about my love for mother earth and mother nature as one preson or being, one person or being that has been my only mother since the day i was born. i would never write anything good about my human mother. sorry.

From the green hills of heaven

To the very beauty of every wonder

To the very first breath of air to enter my lungs

She was my mother.

 

She gave birth to the stars

She gave birth to the moon

She gave birth to the very infinite universe around

All from one, single, womb.

 

From the waters of youth

To the very blue sky that bends above

To the very warmth of sunlight upon my skin

I was born from love.

 

She gave birth to life

She gave birth to my father

She gave birth to me

For she is my mother.
