See

See

A Poem by Daniel J. Walker
"

A dabble into darker elements. With an optimistic resolution venting of sorts..

"
Betwixt infernal spaces
And faces suspended behind
The chains
Which lengthen
Enslaving mankind
Hang in the balance
Sustaining its universal decline
Across towering fortresses
Cloaking the peaks of an even wider spatial design

But which is it
After all is enslaved
That will tell the Innermost when it is time
Beings that ceased to exist
And believed in the love of many lies
Will awake only to remember
It was never their time
To which One must say:

"This cannot be!
How can such clarity
Become only memory
To races opportunely placed
Under the progression of Eternity
Embracing the imperfected
Caring for what we cannot, ourselves
See
New eyes must prepare the way
So my home
So as to still be unseen
Can now step inside me."
