Spoken To

Spoken To

A Poem by British Brittany
"

I went with my church to Mendocino with YWAM for a summer camp... (:

"
Her heart was filled with a welcoming oil
She opened the gate and released its guard
Rhythms came into her heart
Softly
Ever so softly
Along with the rhythms grew droplets of rain
One by one they came
She raised her hands in appreciation
Rhythms roared louder and faster
Droplets came with more and more abundance
Love, hope, and strength rained
Every beautiful grace that was ever made
It filled her body
Sounds kissed her ears
She stretched her arms out to the skies
Beauty was all that she could hear
Then it rushed
It flooded
All emotion
All serenity
All fulfillment
Everything all at once
She couldn't help herself
Her knees grew weak
Her heart cried with love
She dropped to her knees
Because it was all to extreme to believe
But it was truth
Truth so undeniable she could never turn away
She prayed that this joy would continue everyday
She cried
She smiled
This is what she was missing all the while
In all this glory clearness was sent
A message that could not be marred
She was told to speak her heart
But everything used to make her feel so small
Heart ache
Easy to break...
She understood
The world would do to her what it could
She sighed
How could she be so blind?
But she could feel it
She was under his blanket
Nothing could harm her now
And she could take this back to her little town.

Beautiful! Always "share what we learn with others"! (Take back to her little own). I loved the concept of this poem and I live that I've been in that same position so many times, just truly overflowing with gods love and grace. Thank you for posting this and "sharing it" with others!
