Is this real feeling or the built up hopes and wishes

Your eyes search for mine
Hoping for our hearts to intertwine
I freeze trying to find my thoughts
My brain is momentarily disconnected
Is this love at first sight
No... It's secretly blind from what is right
My heart, yours...
Where is the core, the soul in this?
We're both counting on this one wish
You're waiting for the words to roll off my lips
But there is nothing to say
Because my heart stopped that day
It froze in time
When I think of you my mind always goes to that memory
Is this real?
Or the enemy's provided meal?
These lies
What do I believe?
I am always told that this is what I need
My thoughts begin to dwell on you
This isn't true!
This is lust
Slowly my purity begins to rust
I want to fall deeper
But this is fake
Not real
Surreal
There isn't any notion
It's just fake emotion
