Vision

Vision

A Poem by -!katie!-

Your hard eyes scan over my forgotten face

searching for a trace

of the girl left behind

the one to whom you once fell blind

your eyes of steel,

my layers they peel,

revealing the true me

that only you are only able to see

you gaze right past my smile

and look with interest for awhile

you understand all my dreams,

see the stitching coming undone when I'm torn apart at the seams

like no one else you see me

and you know I don't want sympathy

your way of knowing how I really feel is perfect

I swear our minds intersect

you look beyond what I say

and realize that I'm not okay

when I'm enclosed in darkness

you help me out of this life's mess

you heal me with understanding

even when I've gone through a crash-landing

my words, you disect

and bring the full effect

I hope this vision is never lost

so much to me, it would cost

for me, you've got twenty/twenty

and I need it plenty.

i dont think it needs anything else.
it is good and i like how you think of different ways to say how some one is looking at you.

i can relate to it.

(guess who i am!!!)
