Light

Light

A Poem by Brooklyn

A flip of the switch

The blink of an eye

A wince at the light’s

Florescent shine

Been in the dark so long

Forgotten the sun’s warmth

Forgotten the colors

Of the bright world

Forgotten is the smile

The smile of day

The brilliantness

That take one's breath away

Suddenly not sure

Whether to laugh or cry

Feelings greater than a thousand words

Could ever describe

"That take one's breath away" I think should be "That CAN take one's breath away"
Just my thoughts, I like it!
