The Space Between

The Space Between

A Poem by Ruminating Archaeologist
"

wrote around 2:30 in the morning yesterday. whilst drawing.

"
feel like reading phantoms in the dark
making patterns with pencil led on
plain white computer paper.
the night is silent
the night is quiet
the noise is destructive
the noise is loud

there will be a show tonight
show me scenes of familiar faces,
yet I know, I'm challenging my morals
every day
symbolize behind pictures
that I don't want to look
too real-
or too fake-
or too in between-
but maybe,
though I'm not who,
not what,
I seem to be.
