Last time, I let go

Premature

I thought that was best

So sure

Couldn’t have been more wrong

Then we were strong

Now it’s just good-bye, so long

 

And I reminisce

Sit and wish

Remembering everything we had

And it’s just too bad, just too bad

 

But this time, love, I won’t let go

Hope you know

I’m holding tight this time around

This flaming rope

Can keep on burning through my hands

But still I’ll stand

A poem that displays the inner strengths of love, you are very good at writing about love in general it seems to be an emotion you have the un-natural talent of hitting on the head.
