Ice

Ice

A Poem by Caitlin Lea

I am
ice
shaped
like a star

With illusions
of beauty.
Do I
sparkle

When the
Sun is
in my
eyes?

All along
I've been
melting
into

A red
tumbler
of
rejection,

Because
I forgot--
I am
just

Water.
