Life comes knocking

Life comes knocking

A Poem by CalebSchadeck

Bit by bit
The dreams are crushed
When fairy tale is no longer plush
The kids go along singing their mary songs
But for you it is all over
for life comes knocking
but new dreams arise as the old ones fall
and it is whole once again.
To you, to you, what once was  a dream, now a harsh reality
Is this how it was, is this how you wanted it to be?
If only if only
life had not come a knocking
then the children would still play
and the light of childhood would still shine down
But its is time to grow up now
when life comes knocking.
