Used To.

Used To.

A Poem by Madi Bellon

I thought that you could see me,
I thought that I was one-
That only you laid eyes upon.
Is this what you've become?
I used to say I love you,
You were my heart and soul.
The fire that once burned for you-
Is out, and now it's cold.
You used to be my lifeline, love.
But, you left and caused a virus.
The virus left me standing here,
Suffering in this silence.
