Tim Horton (1930-1974)

Tim Horton was the Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman, won four Stanley Cups, lent his name to the doughnut franchise, and was inducted in the Hockey Hall of Fame in 1977.

Tim Horton's is the name of the most famous coffee shop in Canada. Most would prefer Tim Horton's over Starbucks, largely due to the nationwide famous Timbits. Timbits are doughnut-like spheres coming in chocolate, honeydew and more.
