Temptation

It was easier to forget you when you were two thousand miles away

But now that I'm here

I can't seem to forget everything we had

The way you say my name brings back memories

Like when you said you loved me for the first time

And the love in your eyes when you said it

How could someone fake that ?

So I believed you

And said I loved you too

Every time I saw you my stomach would flip

My heart would race

And I would get a big smile on my face

But one day I found out something I would never forget

And I left

Now I'm back

One year later

Afraid to see you

scared that I might fall again

Resisting temptation is hard when you still love someone
