Amongst the piecesA Poem by Ama May CooperI just felt like stringing something together .. from head to toeShatterd door frames broken hearts Tears and aches thats just the start and i shearch amongst the pieces little bits remain not anything of solid counting but things ill look at again and again because i cant just turn away from all these feelings for you those little notes, and little jokes your clothing found here and there worn so many times by me your scent no longer remains but sentimental value is all the same i listen in to things you say or more the things you dont the questions you avoid in answering the way you dismiss my quizzical gaze and when i call for you where are you i wonder not with me, never with me anymore but my heart its forever with you locked in turmoil with my mind with intellegent thought telling me to run away and turn a blind eye to the inner throbbing before you cause me harm but its to late your blade has landed and im stuck upon it pierced all the way thru theres no escaping you
