Stuck in a world without you

Stuck in a world without you

A Poem by Cassie Potter

The world may be dark,

but you’re the light at the end of that tunnel.

Even though you're gone,

I still see your smile,

And your loving gaze.

I hear your voice in the sound of a music playing.

I know you’re gone,

and I’ll see you again someday,

just don't forget me because I’ll never forget you.

Those bright green eyes and a smile that radiates like the sun and the gaze made anyone feel like the luckiest person in the world to see that daily.

My best friend, this is not goodbye this is until we meet again.

In a world of angels and Demons, where you are now, and I’ll be eventually.

A heartfelt and truly sad poem, Cassie. I like how you express your gratitude for this person touching your life and even with the sadness of their loss, you still find hope and an eventual time for ethereal reunion. Sorry for your loss. Tragic for one so young. Keep writing. 💛
