oh dear Christine ... so many sleepless nights would benefit from your words ... its a perfect prayer before bed says i! ... i especially like how this senryu takes the boogey man from darkness ... a wonderful image to have in me nog ... as i pull the mantle up to my chin .. all tucked in nice and cozy ;) peace on Earth my friend

It's a nice picture you paint. I could put this in an album and use it as an example of how something so small can cast such large shadow. I enjoyed it.

Indeed a reasonable aspiration to get a good night sleep unless one is awake writing senryu that is Chris! 'Productive Insomnia' I'd diagnose.

I most always fall to sleep quickly but dont have many dreams to remember though some are fantastical but have had friends who have flying dreams i never have lucky them wish you a sandmans dream
