Catch A Falling Fish

Catch A Falling Fish

A Poem by Chris Shaw
"

(a rave from the grave ...)

"
in comes early summer heat
poker hot spot dazzling bright
takes a hold i see a torch
blazing forth a scorching light

in the shadows there stand i
watching as the tears drip down
face stained wet as rivers run
trampled feelings short lived crown

pick me up that's life my friend
dust me down out goes the trust
markers left upon my heart
leave no silver only rust

Be safe.

Peter Gabriel sings Solsbury Hill. Music is the perfect background for writing at times.
