It Is you Not Me

It Is you Not Me

A Poem by Catherine Li
"

A poem a wrote when I was down.

"

you stare at me

with disappointment.

Yet, you were your

own lighter, igniting

your own fire.

Anger is your nature

As red hot boiling

as Hell with the thousand

souls

you could see but cannot

For the barrier is greater

than what you see

And the log in your eye

is greater than the truth

So there are only lies

you hear and believe
