Tears of blood

Tears of blood

A Poem by Ashley
"

A poem that talks about abuse and how it can cause harm to more than one person...

"
I cry tears of blood
They fall upon the floor
I cry tears of blood
It flows right out the door
I cry tears of blood
Then you look right into my face
Am I just a waste?
I cry tears of blood
Only to cry more and more
You move your fist away
I turn and say
I cry tears of blood
But, you will pay
I lift my fists and swing away
Now, you will cry tears of blood
This day

A timeless story is told in these words of how the meek finally stand against the powerful and lash back for all the suffering they have endured. I like the use of repetition in this piece, it adds to the strength in the last four lines.

line two...?? "a pond" did you mean "upon"?
line 14...?? "I life my.." did you mean" I lift my.."?

The piece got the message across firmly. Good writing!
