Night Vision

Night Vision

A Poem by Firebird
"

Night can be long and dark.

"
That first night the moon was silver,
Star-hung feather wisp of light.
We held each other so closely
And my dreams were golden bright.

The next time the moon was orange and vast,
Hanging heavy in the sky,
Swollen belly like pregnant woman
As I dreamed of lives gone by.

Last night no moon, the sky was dark
My tears made my vision dim.
I coiled my arms around myself
And went to the world within.

So sad..
As a wise person once said: This too will pass.
Don't stop sitting!
