Confessions

A Poem by Firebird
"

I told you true

"
You asked me why,
I answered you,
You got the truth for free.

You asked me who,
I told you names,
I didn't need to lie.

You asked me how,
And I explained,
You turned me inside out.
Unravelled me like a ball of string,
Useless, dirty, old.

You heard it all,
And then you left,
You said you wouldn't go.
You never claimed you were my friend,
But who's the liar now?

Thanks Aphy! I'm glad you liked it.
Truly beautiful. It shows a sort of introspection that only a good author and writer can conjure! Good job.

Thank you. You're kind.
Raw, painful and powerful, with a punch to the face at the end. Me like.

I don't like it. I was just compelled to write it. :/
