True Colours

True Colours

A Poem by Dwelling Moments Of A Teenager

Last reminders fade out of life,
the essence of surprise gives streams of happiness to the like-minded.
A shiver of coldness running down your back.
Backstabbed by the one you trusted the most.
Only thin lies covering up the wounds.
Peeling, Flaking off to see the colours of the world.
Being blinded by control.
Dying yourself black to darken others.
Screaming to the sun for the light to be shone on you once more.
Stripping down to your soul,
floating up to the stars.
Coloured with rainbows.
Knowing the path of truth should always be taken.
