What makes an angel?

Something I wrote in junior high when I was bored in math X.X

 Angels

A flurry of white wings

Or golden halo things,

What makes an angel?

Good deeds done

Nice songs sung,

Is this what makes an angel?

Or is it an art,

That only you can take part

That makes your soul pure

And makes your life a great grandeur?

Or is it, when you help others evermore

That you gain your reward?

I see, I know, I hope

That with my life I cope

And yet, I wonder, and wonder:

What makes an angel?

Loved this :) I like to believe that the majority of people have an angel somewhere deep inside, pushing it's way out of their soul in order to touch another soul. Unfortunately, my angel is still tinged with darkness, but hopefully the darkness brings a little experience and empathy with it.
