Blinds Me

Blinds Me

A Poem by Izzy Briles
"

Wrote this a few years ago, as a song.

"
Fall like the stars, slip on ice.
Bleed from your heart, gee that's nice.
Sell your soul, well, that was your goal.
Gave your love to someone new.
I know you, you don't know me. God only knows you possess me.
I wish you were here with me. here with me.
Can you help me? I can barely breathe, I'm drowning in this sea called "love".
Can you help me? I can barely see, love blinds me.
Bitter taste, burned your tongue.
Caught again I'm feeling dumb.
Well runs dry, stabbed my eyes.
Blood runs black from all this hate.
Still you say; "Come to me, I will give you what you need."
Well, I wish you were here with me. here with me.
Can you help me? I can barely breathe, I'm drowning in this sea called "love".
Can you help me? I can barely see, love blinds me.
Fall like the stars, slip on ice.
Bleed from your heart, gee that's nice.

ignore grammar issues, these are lyrics to a song. I hope that I conveyed what I was feeling in this situation appropriately, but I would absolutely love to read feedback!
