Lingering on the edge

Lingering on the edge

A Poem by An owl on the moon

Lingering on the edge of light

on silver-shining sequined streets

footsteps fainting, falling night

grafted gardens of colored pleats…

Rhythmic rifts of clouding skies

cadence tripping light the tune

lullen mists waltz olive eyes

I dance her earth and she my moon…

And in the tranquil ruby glimmer

rain descends in mothered pearls

she glides across the earthen shimmer

in seabird songs and lilting curls…

A ravishing faberge egg of a love poem where the rhyming vowel and consonant sounds parallel the harmony of your two lovers.
