Tequila Mockingbird Rainglow

Tequila Mockingbird Rainglow

A Poem by An owl on the moon
"

Slow pressed... sigh's blissed...

"

Sunlife
sweat beads blister
crushed  ice  glinting
in rainglow
crisp  air  steams
highball  glass
low  ceilings
down  two  ounces
blue  agave  tequila
Aztec  dreams
Guadalajara  desert
sweet  crème  de  menthe
corsican  colorless  white
sweet  flirtation
lime - scented  lips
slow  pressed
sighing  blissed
fingers  dripping
lingering  soft  soda
quiver  and  quake
slow  deliberate
replay ecstasy
swallow…

An owl on the moon
I have been instrumental in banning bottled water on the set. It hasn't gone that well with the crew... so I replaced it with tequila. - Hugh Laurie

Very sensual. Loved the short lines, but are you really mixing tequila with creme de menthe? Really;) Great write.

Words can move us in so many ways... thank you for sharing yours.
I love how you built a story without explicitly connecting these dots together...
...slow  pressed
sighing  blissed
fingers  dripping...
I find much to play with my imagination in your lines... Lee said it best, a sexy piece:)

It's always a joy to have you stop by! Thank you for sipping a bit on my words... :)
I like the quote and the poem. Beautiful photo gave life to your words. I like those places where the rum and tequila was cheap. Beautiful woman near. A nice journey with your outstanding poetry.
