Dreams of the Fifth Empire

Dreams of the Fifth Empire

A Poem by An owl on the moon
"

Come forth in your myriad madness

"

Come forth in your myriad madness

Come from your solemn, hollow places

Lonely owls awakening the chorus

These cries from Sintra’s stones

Vanished in the Field of the Three Kings

This winged angel of crowned splendor

A sleeping king so soon to rise again

On a misty morning not unlike today

Listen to the voices of the Mensagem

Hear how the golden one returns

Sebastião, sweet ruler of the light

Sebastião, hero soul of Os Lusíadas

There is in each dark cloud a feather

And in the rustling, such wild wings

Now in dreams of the Fifth Empire

Enchantments of the approaching age

About
2024 is here... May we make it so much more heaven than hell... Wishing all peace on earth... Together, maybe we go the distance... The night has a thousand eyes, And the day but one; Yet t.. more..
