Stolen Innocence

Stolen Innocence

A Poem by Jingoism

Stolen innocence
Stripped before its age
Exposing the devils
At the greenest stage
Piercing a hole
In the delicate mind
Permanent patterns
Left irresponsibly behind
The mind matures
With new images each day
But those of the youth
Interminably stay
A moment for thought
Before opening their eyes
For no action disappears
Might it just be in disguise
