Love Still Unspoken

Love Still Unspoken

A Poem by Chiquita

Laughter is spoken
Openly, without reservation.
Varieties of conversation are
Engaged in, no worries of rejection.

Still there is no
Telling of loves tale.
It remains unspoken.
Lies are said in it’s place,
Lies told with no words.

Unspoken love, a resounding untruth.
Not a word is uttered to
Speak of my deepest secret.
Pondered moment to moment,
Only whispered in my heart,
Kept in the secrets of silence.
Every utterance of nothing is a bold face lie.
No lie speaks as loudly as my unspoken truth.

I have lied to my beloved.  I have betrayed my own heart.
May my delayed words speak loud enough to un-tell my lies.

Every utterance of nothing is a bold face lie.
No lie speaks louder than my unspoken truth.

Girl, I am feeling it...and I'm here anytime.

Now there is a truth!
And so much water flows under the bridge, funny I think most people do this to themself at some point in time,,, I wonder though, why?
I guess if anyone knew that, words would never go unspoken.
