My Darkest Night

My Darkest Night

A Poem by Sheena

Night unveiled around me
No hope to be oh so clear
Light fails
To peak through darkest space.

What more do you want from me
Is affection not enough?
Affliction in the
world
Why won't you see it
Destroying body and soul.

No more light
Light is only the brighter darkness.
What more could you have
Than all the money in the world?
Is love not enough?

There is a sound to darkness
And it's screaming your name,
I cannot hide it anymore
I cannot hide.

What was done cannot be unglued
This feeling cannot be dampened.
With night unveiled around me
Soothing to the touch
Your touch.
Who are you?

My Darkest Night...

Night unveiled around me
No hope to be oh so clear
Light fails
To peak through darkest space.

What more do you want from me
Is affection not enough?
Affliction in the
world
Why won't you see it
Destroying body and soul.

No more light
Light is only the brighter darkness.
What more could you have
Than all the money in the world?
Is love not enough?

There is a sound to darkness
And it's screaming your name,
I cannot hide it anymore
I cannot hide.

What was done cannot be unglued
This feeling cannot be dampened.
With night unveiled around me
Soothing to the touch
Your touch.
Who are you?

My Darkest Night...
