Let Me Take A Nap.

Let Me Take A Nap.

A Poem by Chelsea.

Sunny with orchids

Roses and sunflowers

Fields and fields in front of me

Running for hours and it never ends

Perhaps at the end Is the waterfall

My mom told me when I was a kid

But I wouldn’t know

I’ve never reached it

Tiring hours of work

Clock is ticking rhythmically along

With the tapping of my foot on the office’s floor

Hours and hours it never ends

Lunch break in a few

Will give me some time to think

About the rest of my problems at home

Big black dark holes

So much space I don’t know where to go

It’s empty

Yet

Full

Which is the right door to open

I pick one and I pray

As I step outside

I fall into the darkness

Pure darkness

What is this?

Monsters and screams

People burning

Pulling their hair

Taking their scalp off

Alongside with their masks

Is this it?

What everyone told me?

Oil dripping and covering the wood

No soul left untouched

The sinners have sinned

There’s no going back

It’s time to take revenge

Heaven or hell?

Another life?

Another human?

Lifeless?

Flower?

Pet?

What will happen when I close my eyes

Forever and fantasize

Drive through the colors and the different patterns

Dream and dream

Never come back

Fall into space

Scary and ironic

The only thing a human can’t avoid

From the moment we cried

To the moment we sleep

Where will we go when we fall asleep?
