Mending While Bending

Mending While Bending

A Poem by Chelsea M

      Can you feel the rush???

      Are you breaking or bending??

I won't tolerate the mending I laid my life on the line for you I dedicated everything I owned.

I am living in the past and my heart is being stoned

I will stand stone cold waiting for your glance of hesitation

You played me like an ace of spades my life is not a game of control.

I am left alone in this place with my over taken soul.

   For you i breathe..

   For your touch I linger..

There is something left to live for though now I know.. it is no longer you..

You are breaking and mending there's no use in pretending you have your back against the wall

Are you lacking a conciense or are you being defeated?

Rivers flow and the tears they fall, I have a taste of insanity the bitterness I have felt

but here I stand... I have a stong grip...

But it is not of your hand...
