Broken

This is a poem I wrote with the intention of a girl starting it, then someone else finding it and finishing it.

Living, laughing,learning to fly,

I'll find a way to touch the sky,

Living, laughing, learning to fly,

I'll smile as I soar high.

No fear, no doubt, not thinking things through,

I turn, I smile, I get distracted by you,

No fear, no doubt, not thinking things through,

I break and shatter as you rip my heart in two.

Falling, crying, regretting my trust,

rip my heart out quickly, if you must...

Falling, crying, regretting her trust,

She hit the ground nothing but dust...
