chapter 2 -

 Sarah listened as the silence from the elders continued. "I guess that confirms it." said one elder, "She must be the voice mentioned in the prophecy." Sarah stared at the elder in confusion, they kept mentioning a prophecy but they never said what it was. Her look was noticed by one of the elders, "I thought she knew of the prophecy." the elder barked, "Yet by her face she has not a clue as to what is going on." The crone placed something in Sarah's hands, it was a stone tablet, chalk, and a sponge. Sarah gave her a thankful glance, now she could speak to them. Swiftly she scibled on the tablet, asking "what did the prophecy say, I heard you talking about it but i do not know about it". As the elders read this they exchanged glances, "should we tell her?" the elder that spoke was an elderly fairy, and her gruff voice rumbled in the air, the crone responded, "I believe we should, she is involved after all." The other elders noded their heads, "Very well, let us get started." the crone cleared her throat and continued, "There is a poem, we think it used to rhyme in the begining but this is what it is now,

 

Two waring races in this world

decided by the voice that has gone silent

visions of battles in voices mind

voice will decide, live or die

 

Sarah listened in confusion at the words, "but what do they mean?" she wrote.

"No one knows for sure," one elder replied, "But we are pretty sure that the voice mentioned is you. You seem to be a voice that has gone silent. If there had been another child that lost its voice we would have looked into it." 

Sarah sat in silence, should she tell them about the war she saw? Tentatively she started to write.

"I saw," sarah paused, "There was a war, and a bright flash" she left out the part about the boy, not sure how the elders would take it. 

"That flash would be the timeseal," answered the crone, "Only a great fairy is able to create one. Crone Zana was one of the few who could."

"But what is it?" Sarah scribbled.

"A time seal is a spell that stops a certain area, the people inside the area are held in the moment the spell was created"
