The shedding of cherry blossoms

Falls upon her face

Pink romance slips its breath

Underneath the lure of her skin

They dance amongst her spirit

Embracing her essence

Becoming her

 

Twinkle little stars

In her eyes

Dust her in electric dreams

Draw her into your heart

She is now a part of you too

Now release her back to me

Covered so elegantly

In pink romance

 

Whispered in reverberation

Keeping her in secret

The jewel of the galaxy

Echoing her back down gently

Upon the flutter of dragonfly wings

Carrying her into the night

Sparkling in pink romance

 

She's asleep and waiting for me once again

Where I always find her in my dreams

Waltzing the island I built for her

Covered in cherry blossoms

I love the images in this poem and I also really like how you made the romance pink. Romance is shades of pink and red in my head :P. The whole poem is so dreamy and romantic. It makes me wonder if the woman is really yours or only yours in your dreams on the island you made for her.. Great poem :)

You entwined stellar references with the beauty of her eyes and I was done....you mastered the romance, my friend.
