Pierced forever

 

I am reading -again

your work

After so long,

Laying dormant

hours,

days..

And, now,

Today-

I am strong enough to see who we were.

Deeply beautiful-

Love

Each word

Calculatedly placed….

And I am reading my words…. after the loss

Of you

and it pains me

deeply

I loved you..

so hard

deep

I fell for what I knew was you

and I lost

I love you now

I am still running

For you

I will never forget

everyday

a glimpse of you

my heart is pierced

And forever it shall bleed

I really enjoyed this poem. The line structure gives the poem resemblance to stuttering, or possibly the way our brains process thoughts at times. Short phrases, or words that progress a thought.
