Fear of falling.

Fear of falling.

A Poem by The Misanthropy Diaries
"

It can be anything.

"

It happens to all who walk.

We are so afraid of what won't happen,

so that we never do.

Gather our consciousness into a secluded, deserted

into the little peace (or piece) of mind that we do have

and we no longer show what we have been feeling.

It is not that we don't have the power, the strength, the energy.

But what we do have is fear. And that fear is what holds us back.

It does not hold us together, it doesn't tear us apart. Instead it just holds us.

Deep, into the little dark place where we are most comfortable. We can't be

taken out of our comfort zone.

It happens to all who walk.

Fear of falling.

joy of flying

There are those some, who dare to dream
leep off into that criteria, of whatever
find their wings, and fly to the unknown

shred their board, ride in the next wave
See the sparkle a water, breath in flavour
not think of the mondain, and all the same

I like your point of view, its philosophical edges and generalizations.
Quote: [ Gather our consciousness ]... learn to fly, shed the fear and wondering why. Accept the spontaneity, of an excitement for the now.
Brave the walk, savour the path of just how. Write On / Right On!
