A Poem by Clare Ashbury

Unspoken words
Blushes still
Giggles a plenty
joking thrills
Dreams that are secret
Eyes between two
Fear and wondering
Confusion through nights
Explanations never to surface
Ticking of time
Wondering what will be
Through life i will see
Until then living night after night
My words the only way to my escape.
